Pamphleteer News 5.3.13

The pamphleteers haven’t seen all that much of each other the last few weeks. Three of us have been on the road, springtime allergies have run amok among us, and – you know – life.

In recent weeks, Renee traveled to and through various and sundry European countries. She successfully packed a manageable size and weight of suitcase without even needing the expander zipper! Huzzah! She did not lose her camera, her mother, or her mind on this trip, and had an amazing time eating, well, a picture is worth a thousand words:

Amy spent her spring break with her family down in Florida. Rumor has it that a good time was had by all. Now she dives headlong into the final weeks of school. If you are a teacher or know a teacher, you know we may not see her again ’til the end of May!

Susan graciously helped on “the Ponderosa” (nickname given to my home and future home of Kevin Bacon and Willy Nilly) while we took a family vacation to Florida. On top of being awesome about that, she actually brought us back our gate clicker when we got home (indeed, she rocks). It was great to see her and watch the Heidster and my girls generally terrorize each other.

Our trip to Orlando was awesome…for the three- and one-year-old. Yes, we did one park – the Magic Kingdom – and it was magical…for them. No, no, it was fun for us too – slightly more fun for me had it not been in the 90s that day. Randy and I fast-passed them around the park, trying to keep us all hydrated and happy. Other than our trip to the Magic Kingdom, we mostly just hung out at the pool and lazed around (as much as parents of a 1- and 3-year-old can!).
